Beecraigs Camp Site

A peaceful campsite located in the scenic Bathgate Hills catering for tents, caravans and motor homes. Just 2 miles outside of the historic town of Linlithgow, this quiet and relaxing campsite is nestled within the 913 acres of Beecraigs Country Park.

Visitors like to take advantage of the mesmerising landscapes and beautiful walks and trails within the Park and around Beecraigs loch. However, if you are looking for a day off site, this park is midway between Edinburgh and Glasgow, making two of Scotland’s incredible cities easily accessible.

The site offers 10% discount for campers when they book activities such as fly-fishing and golf, available within the Park, so you can take part in a variety of activities without leaving the site! Whatever you choose to do, this campsite’s serene and friendly atmosphere is perfect for a relaxing break.

Linwater Caravan and Camping Park

A family run site situated just 3 miles from the famous Royal Highland Showground, home to the Royal Highland Agricultural Show, Gardening Scotland and many more sports events throughout the year.

This site has something for all the family; Wi-fi is available in the reception area and there is a large sand pit and toys for the children. There is also a perfect trail for dog walking leading to the canal and Almondell Country Park. Dogs are welcome on site though they are to be kept on leads.

This family cares a lot about the environment and as a result the campsite is the proud receiver of the ‘David Bellamy Gold Conservation Award’, and recycling is available on site. There is also a herb garden located within the site where visitors are encouraged to gather herbs to enhance their cooking during their stay!

Loch House Farm Caravan and Camping Park

A small but welcoming campsite, on open farmland, catering for touring caravans, motor homes and tents. Located just outside Linlithgow, this park has many attractions within a close proximity.

Attractions include Linlithgow Palace, the birthplace of Mary Queen of Scots in 1542, overlooking a beautiful loch. Within Linlithgow there is also 2 other museums: Annet House and the Canal Centre. Annet House educates its visitors on the history of the town and also boasts delightful gardens, while the Canal centre offers a small museum and boat trips along the canal throughout the summer period.

Not only is this campsite wonderfully positioned for historical activities, but there are also numerous shops, pubs and restaurants nearby.
